This is the first official trailer for the first Hobbit movie, which is scheduled to hit the theaters in December 2012. I read this with my four year old this year and he loved it. We read through this version. We’ve since moved on to the Lord of the Rings trilogy which is a bit slower going, but fascinating for little and big minds alike. Parents: I recommend challenging the minds and imaginations of your kids with reading books you may think are beyond their comprehension. Set the bar high, but not too high.
